Holmer Green Village Society is staffed exclusively by volunteers. We welcome anyone interested in getting involved, whatever age or experience, whenever you have time. We always need helping hands!
The following are vacancies that currently exist;
Committee post for Safety and Security involved in Village watch, CCTV, discouraging anti-social behaviour, speeding cars etc
Communications Officer - volunteers are needed to create content for news and current affairs for the website, facebook and mail outs to members. 1and1 web application experience would be super but not essential.
Fund Raising – HGVS has membership as one source of funds, however sponsorship and business directory services and social events are also envisaged. In addition fund raising for specific projects (Bandstand, Pond for example) will require managing. Finding and acquiring funding from government, council or other local bodies needs investigation.

Event Sub-Committee – several organisers are needed to help the team bring to the village a range of social events. The next planned event is the “Music on the Common’ on 16th July 2020 where we also will need Marshalls for the event. Wr run another vent at Christmas, Christmas by the Common, and we similarly regquire help with this event.

Information Panels - This team are constructing panels to describe our history, flora and fauna. There will also be plaques on buildings of note. Also 45 locations will have QR scans so those with smart phones can access media for that site. These will be created into trails or games for the young. Anyone with skills in these areas would be welcomed or anyone who is interested.
